Diseñador/a Sr Power

Responsabilities:

• Coordination of the design team.
• Preparation of electrical design drawings: typical installation drawings, cable tray, trench, and cable routing drawings; lighting circuits and layout drawings; grounding and lightning protection network drawings; substation and electrical room design.
• Assignment, control, and review of activities for the members of the design team.
• Coordination with different operational centers and with other disciplines.
• Interpretation and development of design criteria in accordance with the applicable project specifications.
• Use of design tools, mainly SmartPlant 3D.
• Review vendor documentation, identify changes, and apply the resulting modifications to the overall plant design.
• Ability to lead periodic 3D model reviews with the client and other involved disciplines, resolving clashes and applying corrective actions when required.
• Support the discipline lead in monitoring the progress of design activities, ensuring deadlines and required quality are met.
• Provide support in resolving construction queries or issues during the project execution phase.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Department: lessons learned, procedure development needs, identification of training needs, etc.
• Training/mentoring of less experienced designers.

Experiencia específica mnínimo 10 años en proyectos de plantas de generación: ciclos combinados, biomasa, cogeneración, térmica convencional (carbón) o turbinas de gas.
